What SeniorHealthCompanion Does: The Basics
SeniorHealthCompanion is an app that lets you keep your important medical information in one place, on your phone or tablet, where it’s easy to find and easy to read. It’s built around the information a first responder or emergency room would need to know about you.
What you can store
You can keep a list of all your medications and supplements, along with your surgeries, procedures, diagnoses, imaging, and more. You can also keep your insurance information and your care team, including your doctors, specialists, and pharmacy.
Up to five profiles
Here’s the bonus. The app supports up to five profiles, so you can keep information for yourself, your spouse, an elderly parent, or maybe a child who lives with you and needs care. When you visit a doctor or a medical facility and have to fill out all those forms, the information you need is already there.
Sync with a partner
You can also sync between phones or tablets. If I go to the doctor and get a new diagnosis or prescription, I can enter it and sync it with my wife, so she has up-to-date information about me. I’ll talk about syncing in more detail in a future post, but I wanted to mention it here.
The app is free on iPhone and Android.

A reminder
SeniorHealthCompanion is a place to keep and organize your information. It does not give medical advice and is not a substitute for your doctor. In an emergency, call 911.
